How to use Social Network-Comments

There are 3 setting levels for Social Network &Comments Options

1. Components / TZ Portfolio /Options /Social Network-Comments

These settings apply for article layouts unless they are changed for a specific menu item or a specific article.

  • Show comment: You can decide whether to show or to hide comments by selecting “Hide” or “Show”.
  • Comment type: There are 3 comment types such as DisQus, JComment or Facebook. You can select one of them.
  • Show comments count: The number of people commented on the article on Face book.
  • Your DISQUS subdomain (shortname): Set here your website’s shortname, that you registered with your DISQUS account (See Settings/General/Site Identity/Shortname).
  • Disqus API Secret Key: It is Disqus API Secret Key for displaying comment count.
  • Test Disqus comments on a local development server: This option will enable DISQUS comments without having to upload your website on the actual domain associated with the DISQUS service.

SOCIAL BUTTONS

  • Twitter Button: You can decide whether to hide or show the twitter button.
  • Facebook Button: You can decide whether to hide or show the Facebook button.
  • Google +1 Button: You can decide whether to hide or show the Google + button.
  • Show Pinterest Button: You can decide whether to hide or show the pinterest button.
  • Show Linkedln Button: You can decide whether to hide or show the Linkedlin button.

4.    Note: The priority Order to receive the options in configuring Social Network-Comments

  • 1st: Using article settings
  • 2nd: Using menu settings
  • 3rd: Using TZ Portfolio’s Options
