I moved around some sections of the template to suit my needs and it broke the sliding nav links. I set the link type to external link and set the link value to <a href="#section-name">, yet for some reason the links still do not work and the one that do don't have the sliding effect the are supposed to. Any advise on how to fix this?

Of course, and thank you for the reply.

When I changed the layout of the modules that correspond to the navigation links it broke the links so they no longer direct the user anywhere (its as if the link was set to <a href="#">;).

I've tried editing the menu items and the 'Enter Site' link on the main slider, setting the links field to correspond to the IDs of the sections I would like the anchor links to lead to (for example, #tz-about-head). However, the links still do not work and behave as if the href attribute was set to '#' and don't take the user to the desired section. There are a couple links that DO still work (since I didn't alter the corresponding modules) but some of them don't use the sliding animation that is native to the template, the page simply jumps to the related section.

I feel like this should be a relatively easy fix but I am new to Joomla and am figuring things out as I go along. Thanks again for your help!

Ian

In the first image you'll see that I have set the link to #tz-mass-top, this should lead the user to the module I've named Adventure Log, which resides in the module with id=tz-mass-top. The second image shows that when you click the "Adventure Log" link in the navigation the link is highlighted as if it were active but the the user isn't taken to the "Adventure Log" module.

I wish I could upload a video, it would be much easier to show exactly what I'm talking about.

I did a little digging and found that out after I had made my last post. I guess I was just confused by the different method for controlling the nav links.

Thanks for your help!
