Migrate From Joomla 1.7 To 2.5

You would like to migrate from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5 so that you can update useful functions for your Template such as, security and webmaster.

However, you have some difficulties in upgrading or you have not still found out the fastest way to migrate.

Let's help you. Only some simple steps, you can migrate from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5 easily.
Step 1: If you are using Joomla 1.7, you need to download Joomla version 2.5.0 beta to upgrade in this link.

Step 2: In this step, you have to login Administrator -> Extension -> Extension Manager.

Step 3: Extension Manager: Install
You will upload and install Joomla Joomla_2.5.0_Beta1-Update_Package.zip.

Step 4: Extension Manager: Update
After you complete to upload and install Joomla 2.5.0 Beta, you will update package.

Step 5: Continuously, you will choose "Find Update" button on the right side. This button will help you find Joomla package to upgrade.

After that you click on "Find Update" you will see Joomla package. You have to tick that package to update.

NOTE: While upgrading, if you have any "error." You go to "Database", and then you click on "Fix" button on the right side to fix error.
